| Each year, the New Jersey State Fire Chief's Association, in
cooperation with VFIS of New Jersey, will award scholarships to assist individuals
desiring to further their academic education through post secondary study in fire science
or programs approved by the Scholarship Committee as meeting the requirements for fire
service education. 
There are two programs:
